Top Ten Reasons to Attend Mixers with Business and Med Students

The staff of the Top Ten just found out that there will be mixers between Georgetown law, business, and medical students. We encourage going to these events for a variety of reasons:

  1. You can pick up a sugar mama/daddy who has a better chance of getting a job than you ever will.
  2. Think of all the doctor pick up lines you could use with the med students.  You can finally put the “what section are you in” card to rest.
  3. Med students are probably really good at judging BAC levels.
  4. You can reminisce with the business students about when J.D. stood for “just dollar$.”
  5. You can tell the med students that you’re a “juris doctor.”
  6. The med and business students find it attractive that Georgetown is ranked higher as a law school than in their respective fields. Remind them. Repeatedly.
  7. It’s more fun than studying and you might be able to score free food.
  8. You can ask the business students for better ways to invest 200K than on a legal education.
  9. You can make a med student check out that weird thing on your foot.
  10. The law students have already heard all of your jokes.
